At 875 square feet, the C-875 approaches the ADU size cap in most Dane County municipalities — Madison’s effective cap is the primary home’s size, but many suburban municipalities cap at 800–900 square feet. The C-875 is viable on larger lots in Madison and on lots in municipalities with higher size limits.
